A four person team event run over 3 days in the sunny south east of Ireland. We provide a package deal of accommodation, golf and evening meals. You and your team will stay in picturesque Dunmore East, arriving Sunday 26th April for 4 nights and play great golf in 3 great golf courses all within 20km of Dunmore East. These golf courses will both challenge and delight and competitors. Then after your golf back to Dunmore East for a great meal in a choice of 4 restaurants
Open to all members of Golf Clubs with official handicaps. Handicaps may need to be verified during the competition. Handicap Limits: Mens 28; Ladies 36.
Singles Competition: Players will contest in a single stableford competition each day with a selection of daily prizes on each course each day. The Charlie Boland Memorial Trophy will be presented to the Golfer with the highest points total over the 3 days.
Team Event: The Team event is run over 3 days with the best 3 scores each day counting to the overall team score. Prizes for Overall team winners plus the winners in the following categories: Overseas, Irish, Ladies, Gents and mixed Teams.
Teams consist of 4 players and can be any combination of male and female. If you don’t have 4 players, don’t despair as we can join you with other players to make up a team.
Scores will be posted nightly in participating Restaurants and emailed to Team Captains so everybody will know their position and their team’s position in the overall standings.
Nightly presentations will be held at different venues each night where the beautiful array of Prizes will be presented to the daily winners culminating in the final presentation on Wednesday night where the Charlie Boland Memorial Trophy and the Team prizes will be presented.
Golf Clubs featured in Dunmore East Golf Classic are: Faithlegg Golf Club, Tramore and Waterford Castle.
Restaurants: 3 evening meal vouchers redeemable in the following Restaurants in Dunmore East:
Azzurro, The Haven Hotel, and The Strand Inn.
Accommodation: Hotel or self-catering all based in Dunmore East. Alternatively if you have your own accommodation, you can avail of our Golf and evening meal package.
Register your team and then you will receive by email bank details to pay deposit of €65.00 per person. Final balance due 12th March 2024.
